2.8.2 How to set up anonymous FTP access
Posted by - NA - on 20 June 2009 08:29 AM

Anonymous FTP access allows anyone to access your public_ftp folder. This is not the best solution for security purposes. By allowing users to upload files without a username or password, you might generate a possible security hole for hackers. If you have all possible security measures set up you may set up anonymous FTP access by doing the following:

1.Click on Ftp Manager
2.Click on Anonymous FTP Controls
3.Click on the Allow anonymous access to ftp://ftp.yourdomain.com tick box or the Allow anonymous upload to ftp://ftp.yourdomain.com/incoming tick box. You must click on both tick boxes to enable uploads.
4.Click on the Save Settings button.

You have now set up anonymous FTP access.
