5.3 How to set up a password of RDP for VPS Windows

At first time, you have to set up a password for your VPS through VNC before RDP.


Generally, clients use VPS Windows via Remote Desktop Connection (RDP)
However before using RDP, one thing has to be done is setting up a password of RDP.   

Now please check your Email Inbox and find an Email: Linux VPS Server has been set up

Please follow steps below:

  • Log in (VPS Control)

    As to login info, please refer to the VPS welcome email you received at the first time.

    (If you forgot the password, please click "forgot Password" to reset it.)





  • The email content






  • Select one of VPS Choose a VPS that you want to manage. Then click "Manage" 





  • Click "VNC"





  • Choose a method to connect your RDP. Click the button.





  • A new window will be opened, and it is your VPS OS.

    Click “OK”.




  • Fill in ”New Password” and ”Confirm Password” > Press the arrow.

    Now you can use the this password for RDP.

    New password: 8 characters,
    Contain at least three of the following categories:

    Uppercase letters; Lowercase letters; Numbers.
